The garden

I have been struggling to get some pictures of the garden uploaded for days. They keep appearing upside down and sideways for some reason! First let me remind you what it was like:

David the gardener and his son Sam plus a couple of other helpers worked solidly for a couple of weeks to bring about the transformation. (Shame about the rain and v soggy parasol!)

There's a scrap of lawn, somewhere to eat, somewhere for the kids' horrible plastic slides etc and somewhere to sit. We are waiting for the fencing to be neatened up and an absolutely miniature shed to arrive - it's more like a wardrobe or a sentry box than a shed!

In the rain again. Lets face it, that's how it's going to be seen most of the time...

I hear you RE the books - I don't understand it, but I admire your passion for them! Btw I've just done a post about your blog here.

HI, we 'spoke' a few months ago when I was also in the middle of a massive renovation - and now I've finally come back for a revisit.
Your place is amazing, by the way. Who did you get do install the bifolding doors on the extension and are you pleased with them? You asked me to let you know what my home improvement blog was called and I thought I'd wait till it was finished but that could be forever so it's changinghouses.blogspot.com, a factual style blog, not so entertaining as yours !!!
