That crack...

Oh no - don't say that Lesley - it will give my husband the ammunition he needs to say we don't need to do the bedroom at all! I think those photos were a bit too flattering. Mind you we did throw out the green shag pile and paint the floorboards when we first moved in, so I agree it's not as bad as it could be.

Actually the postman has just brought a stack of eye-watering invoices for all the lovely things we've had done to the garden recently so I might have to confine myself to getting quotes and undertaking lengthy 'research' for the time being.

Meanwhile a close up of that crack for your delectation. If anyone knows someone in the SW London area who can fix old lathe and plaster ceilings which have lost their 'key' without ripping the whole thing down I'd be eternally grateful.

LOL Georgie -
OK, FAO: Georgies Hubby: That main bedroom is awful and needs prompt attention :-)
Its not that bad but when you look at what a good job you have done with the rest of the house it will obviously be fab when finished!!!
Oh and I really like mirror your mum bought you :-)

My photo
I'm 39 and married with two children aged seven and four. I'm fatally attracted to house renovation projects, and this is our third in the last seven years, my personal fifth since I bought my first flat in 1996. I think we might have bitten off more than we can chew with the Worst House.
